UTM Assault Rifle / Carbine Conversions are available for UTM Silent and Battlefield Blanks (SBR & BBR), UTM Man-Marker Rounds (MMR), and UTM Target Bullet Rounds (TBR).
Conversions Types
- UTM 5.56mm Man-Marker weapon conversions adapt the host weapon to fire UTM’s 5.56mm Man-Marker Round and the UTM 5.56mm Blanks (SBR/BBR). The UTM Man-Marker & Blank Conversions will not fire UTM TBR ammunition.
- UTM 5.56 mm TBR weapon conversions adapt the host weapon to fire UTM Target Bullet Rounds (TBR). The UTM TBR conversion will not fire UTM MMR or Blank (SBR/BBR) ammunition.
Live Round Fail-Safe
- UTM Assault Rifle / Carbine conversion kits are expertly designed and engineered with a Fail-Safe measures to prevent the discharge of a standard '“Live”' round.
- UTM 5.56mm Assault Rifle / Carbine Man-Marker & Blank Conversions will allow the host weapon to fire UTM’s 5.56mm Man-Marker Round and the UTM 5.56mm Blanks (SBR/BBR). The UTM 5.56mm MMR conversions are engineered so that in the event a “Live” round and/or the UTM Target Bullet Round, with its recessed primer, have been chambered during a Non-Lethal Training Ammunition (NLTA) scenario the lethal round will not discharge. - UTM 5.56mm Assault Rifle / Carbine Target Bullet Round Conversions are ammunition specific, so to only enable the host weapon to fire UTM’s Target Bullet Round (TBR). The UTM Fail-Safe feature prevents a “Live” round from being fired when the weapon is converted for UTM training use.
