Conversion Kits - Light Machine Guns

UTM Light Machine Gun Conversion Kits are designed and engineered for utmost safety, in-service reliability and maintainability. UTM Light Machine Gun Conversion kits are easy to install, a simple exchange of the manufacturer’s Bolt and Carrier Assembly. UTM Light Machine Gun Conversions Kits adapt the host weapon to fire UTM ammunition with the feel and function of “Live” ammunition.

UTM Light Machine Gun conversions are available for UTM Linked Man-Marker (MMR), and UTM Linked Target Bullet Rounds (TBR).

Conversions Types

• UTM 5.56mm Man-Marker weapon conversions adapt the host weapon to fire UTM's 5.56mm Linked Man-Marker Round. The UTM Man-Marker Conversion will not fire UTM TBR ammunition.
• UTM 5.56 TBR weapon conversions adapt the host weapon to fire UTM Linked Target Bullet Rounds (TBR). The UTM TBR conversion will not fire UTM MMR ammunition.
  

Live Round Fail-Safe

• UTM Light Machine Gun conversion kits are expertly engineered with Fail-Safe measures to prevent the discharge of a standard '“Live”' round. UTM 5.56mm Light Machine Gun Man-Marker Conversions will allow the host weapon to fire only UTM’s 5.56mm Man-Marker Rounds.
• The UTM 5.56mm MMR conversions are engineered so that in the event a “Live” round and/or the UTM Target Bullet Round with its recessed primer has been chambered during a Non-Lethal Training Ammunition (NLTA) scenario the lethal round will not discharge.
  
• UTM 5.56mm Light Machine Gun Target Bullet Round Conversions are ammunition specific to only enable the host weapon to fire UTM’s Target Bullet Round (TBR). The UTM Fail-Safe feature prevents a “Live” round from being fired when the weapon is converted for UTM training use.
